PICO RIVERA, Calif. (Feb. 20, 2023) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened early Monday morning on the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway at Rose Hills Road in Pico Rivera.
The pedestrian accident occurred in the southbound lanes of the I-605 about 3 a.m. on Feb. 20th, the California Highway Patrol said.

A driver struck the victim due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics responded to help the injured person, but there are no further details. The victim’s age, gender and identity will be released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner after relatives are notified.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the pedestrian accident on the 605 Freeway.
