5 Injured in Pico Rivera Crash Near Paramount Boulevard and Glendora Drive
PICO RIVERA, CA (October 30, 2022) – Several were injured after a crash near Paramount Boulevard and Glendora Drive in Pico Rivera.
According to the KTLA News and CBS Los Angeles, the accident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 10:40 a.m.
Deputies said a 4-door sedan and a minivan collided head-on for an unknown reason in Pico Rivera. The two crashed near the intersection of Paramount Boulevard and Glendora Drive.
A total of five people, including two children, were involved in the incident.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters soon arrived at the scene and freed one trapped occupant from the wreckage. Paramedics rushed the rescued person to a hospital and listed them in critical condition.
Four other people sustained minor to moderate injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took all four patients for treatment.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers added that both cars obtained severe damage following the wreck.
Officials forced the area of Paramount and Glendora to shut down after the incident. The cause of the Pico Rivera crash is still under investigation.
