RIVERSIDE, Calif. (July 16, 2024) — A pileup crash involving eight vehicles happened Tuesday on the Interstate 215 Freeway near Center Street in Riverside.

Several collisions occurred in the northbound lanes of the I-215 Freeway at around 1 a.m. on July 16th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

One person became trapped in a vehicle and suffered injuries, but paramedics transported them to a local hospital.

It’s unknown if any others were injured in the crash on the 215 Freeway in Riverside.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the collisions.
