Man, Woman Killed in Morongo Valley Small Plane Crash
MORONGO VALLEY, Calif.- – The pilot and his female passenger were killed Tuesday night in a small plane crash near Morongo Valley, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash took place on February 5, 2019, at 8:53 p.m. The aircraft crashed into an area near Highway 62 and North Indian Canyon Drive.
The single-engine Cessna 172 had been reported missing after it left the San Gabriel Valley Airport bound for North Las Vegas airport.
Riverside Sheriff’s Department found the aircraft in the mountains west of Highway 62.
