2-Vehicle Crash Near Pine Grove Market
PINE GROVE, Calif. (April 17, 2023) — A head-on crash in Pine Grove happened Monday morning on the westbound Highway 88 at Ridge Road.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 9:56 a.m. on April 17th in front of Pine Grove Market and Chevron gas station, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A driver in a gray Jeep reportedly veered into the path of a maroon Mitsubishi sedan and one of the vehicles also knocked down a traffic light pole. The lights were dangling from the pole after the collision at the intersection of State Route 88 and Ridge Road, the report said.
Meanwhile, at least one person suffered minor injuries and required an ambulance and tow trucks came to remove the two vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Pine Grove crash on Highway 88.
