1 Killed in Pine Valley Crash on Buckman Springs Road
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA (April 7, 2023) – A crash killed at least one person on Buckman Springs Road in Pine Valley.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on April 7 shortly before 3 p.m.
The incident happened when a pickup truck and another vehicle collided head-on in the Pine Valley area of San Diego County. For an unknown reason, the two crashed at 3305 Buckman Springs Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
CHP said one car rolled over upon impact and then went into a ditch. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Mountain Empire High School.
Medical personnel confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Buckman Springs Road to shut down for about three hours following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Pine Valley crash is still under investigation.
