PINYON PINES, California (Sunday, January 17, 2016) – One party sustained major injuries and another only minor injuries in a traffic collision yesterday on State Route Highway 74, below Vista Point. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, two fire engines with seven firefighters, a helicopter, and an ambulance were on the scene.
The incident took place yesterday morning at about 8:56 a.m., according to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, Indio. Emergency response teams from at least five agencies took part in the rescue.
