1 Injured in Pioneer Crash at Tiger Creek Road and Pinewood Drive
AMADOR COUNTY, CA (May 30, 2021) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person at Tiger Creek Road and Pinewood Drive in Pioneer.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Sunday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:26 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Pioneer near the area of Buckhorn. They crashed at the intersection of Tiger Creek Road and Pinewood Drive.
Car Collision Near Highway 88
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Highway 88. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
An air ambulance took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the corner of Tiger Creek and Pinewood to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Pioneer crash.
