Major Injury Collision at SR-126 and Honey Lane
Piru, CA (April 12, 2023) – Injuries were reported following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Highway 126 and Honey Lane Wednesday afternoon, April 12.
2-Truck Accident in Piru
The KVTA News reported two trucks crashed into each other at the intersection west of Piru. Preliminary investigation revealed a dump truck collided with an EJ Harrison trash truck at approximately 1:45 p.m.
According to the article published online, the trash truck overturned due to the force from the impact. Garbage spilled all over the roadway, officials said.
Responding medical personnel checked the conditions of both drivers involved in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one or more parties sustained major injuries in the crash. The names of the people hurt remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the traffic accident happened at Highway 126 and Honey Lane in Piru.
