Major Injury Collision Near Price Street Offramp
Pismo Beach, CA (March 12, 2023) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 101 Sunday, March 12.
Auto vs. Motorcycle Accident in Pismo Beach
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a person riding a motorcycle collided with another vehicle in the northbound side of the highway. Earlier reports indicated two cars stopped on the right-hand shoulder of SR-101 near Price Street ofrramp. However, it remained unclear whether the two cars were involved in the collision.
Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after 1:59 a.m. When paramedics arrived, they immediately rendered aid to the motorcyclist found lying on the ground. Authorities mentioned the rider was thrown approximately 200 yards due to the force from the impact. Medical personnel later confirmed the motorcyclist sustained major trauma as a result of the crash. Pending confirmation, personal information on the victim remained undisclosed.
Detectives assigned to handle the case stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to work at this time to determine the precise circumstances that led up to the traffic accident that happened on Highway 101 in Pismo Beach.
