7-Vehicle Pileup Crash on Highway 101 in Pismo Beach
PISMO BEACH, Calif. (Oct. 7, 2021) — A multi-vehicle Pismo Beach crash happened Thursday morning on the northbound Highway 101 near the 4th Street off ramp.
The seven-vehicle pileup happened about 7:24 a.m. on Oct. 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicles collided due to unknown circumstances and blocked the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the highway.
Pismo Beach Crash Minor Injuries on Highway 101
Paramedics responded with CHP officers due to reports of minor injuries. It’s unknown if anyone was hospitalized at this time. Also, the CHP did not mention how many people were injured in the collision.
Meanwhile, five tow trucks responded to remove damaged vehicles from the scene and clear debris from the roadway. Two of the vehicles were drivable.
Investigators seek to determine the cause of the Pismo Beach crash and liability.
