Cyclist Injured in Collision on Willow Pass Road
Pittsburg, CA (March 19, 2023) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on Willow Pass Road Saturday, March 18.
Auto vs. Bike Crash in Pittsburg
The California Highway Patrol group reported a man riding a bicycle collided with another vehicle near the 2087 block of the Willow Pass. Pending confirmation, the make and model of the car involved in the accident have not been revealed thus far.
CHP logged the case shortly before 11 a.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the bicyclist found suffering in injuries. It remained unclear at this time whether the victim was transferred to a hospital, or released at the scene.
Investigators continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the accident on Willow Pass Road in Pittsburg.
