6 Injured in 5-Car Collision
LOCATION: Pittsburg
DATE OF COLLISION: Wednesday, January 2nd
January 3, 2018- According to East County Today, a 5-car crash was reported yesterday afternoon at the crossing of the Pittsburg-Antioch Highway and Loveridge Road.
The accident occurred at roughly 2:01 p.m. triggering the dispatch and eventual arrival of the Pittsburg Fire Department.
A total of six motorists suffered injuries. Three of the six were taken by ambulance to a local area hospital.
No details were discussed in regards to the cause of the accident itself as the intersection was closed off for at least an hour following the crash.
