At Least 1 Hurt in Car Accident on California Delta Highway Monday
Pittsburg, CA (June 8, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on State Route 4, also known as California Delta Highway, Monday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a black Chevrolet SLV collided with several other vehicles in the eastbound side of SR-4. First responders found at the scene white Mercedes sedan, and a black Honda. The make and model of the other cars involved in the wreck have not been discussed thus far.
Medical personnel arrived at the crash site shortly after 6:30 p.m. After checking the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck, officials confirmed at least one person suffered injured from the collision. The extent of their trauma of the patient remained unknown.

Meanwhile, investigators confirmed at least one person drive fled the scene after the accident. Officers continue to work at this time to determine the identity of the hit-and-run car crash in Pittsburg.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
