Driver Killed in Car Accident on Interstate 80 Friday
Placer, CA (April 23, 2021) – A road crash resulted in fatal injuries to one person Friday night on the Interstate 80 in Placer County, the FOX40 News reported.
Our sources indicated a man was behind the wheel of a Honda traveling east on I-80 Freeway. When the car approached the junction near Taylor Road, the driver lost control for an unknown reason.
As a result, the Honda veered across the lanes of the interstate. In the process, a truck failed to avoid and struck the car.
Deadly Car and Truck Collision in Placer County, April 23
Medical personnel arrived at the scene shortly after 9 p.m. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the driver of the Honda but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the truck operator involved in the unfortunate event.
Further investigation on the fatal car and truck crash in Placer County is underway.
