Fatal Motorcycle Accident Highway 65
A motorcyclist died Thursday night a crash on Highway 65, but his body was discovered early Friday morning by a passing motorist, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision took place near the northbound Lincoln Boulevard off ramp, police said. About 5:30 a.m. this morning, police were notified of the collision and responded to the scene. The motorcycle had veered off the highway and wasn’t visible from the roadway.
The rider who died at the scene was as identified as a South Placer firefighter, but his name was not released.
Traffic Accident Investigation
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
