Major Injury Collision at Lotus and Granite Creek Road Saturday
Placerville, CA (October 9, 2021) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Lotus and Granite Creek Road in Placerville early Saturday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a white Toyota Corolla veered off the traffic lanes while crossing the intersection of Lotus and Granite Creek. Officials said the car left the roadway and slammed into a tree.

Shortly after 12:20 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found at least one person with major trauma. Pending confirmation, the name and age of the victim remained undisclosed.
Additional details on the collision have not been revealed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the car accident at Lotus and Granite Creek Road.
