Wrong-Way Crash at Broadway Off Ramp, El Dorado (50) Freeway

PLACERVILLE, Calif. (Oct. 24, 2022) — A wrong-way driver crash on the Broadway off ramp to the El Dorado (50) Freeway happened Sunday night in Placerville.

The crash occurred last night when the motorist drove up the off ramp and collided with another motorist, according to CBS 13.

Paramedics responded and rushed one of the drivers to Marshall Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Also, they treated the second motorist at the scene.

Meanwhile, the CHP is investigating the crash to determine if drugs or alcohol are a factor.
