1 Seriously Injured in Pleasant Grove Crash on Highway 99 and Highway 70 Connector
PLEASANT GROVE (August 8, 2020) – A traffic collision on Highway 99 and Highway 70 transition road seriously injured one person on Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, officers received a call about the accident at around 5:21 a.m.
Their report log indicated that two vehicles collided for an unknown reason on northbound Highway 90 to eastbound Highway 70 connector ramp.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to one individual who suffered major injuries as a result of the crash.
Medical personnel then transported the wounded party to Adventist Health and Rideout with an open fracture to the left leg. The name and condition of the patient at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP said another incident took place in the area but only resulted in property damage. Officers briefly blocked the Nos 2 and 3 lanes of the roadway following the collision.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the major injury accident.
