Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian at Natomas and Sankey Road Friday
Pleasant Grove, CA (January 21, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly pedestrian accident that occurred Friday in the area of Natomas and Sankey Road.
According to the CHP dispatch, an individual was seen walking northbound in the southbound side of Natomas Road. When the pedestrian approached the intersection at Sankey Road, an oncoming vehicle struck them. Officials described the vehicle involved in the catastrophic incident as a red Ford F15.
Officials logged the case at about 4:56 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the victim found lying on the ground. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Authorities mentioned the Ford driver pulled over after the collision. Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to investigate the precise cause of the deadly pedestrian accident on Natomas Road in Pleasant Grove.
