Multi-Vehicle Crash Pleasant Hill on I-680 Freeway
PLEASANT HILL, Calif. (April 12, 2021) — A Pleasant Hill car accident happened Monday morning on the Interstate 680 Freeway.
The drivers of a truck hauling wood pallets and a Chevrolet SUV were involved in the 6:52 a.m. collision on April 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol. The report also stated a Honda may have been rear-ended in the crash. Additionally, the CHP report stated the big rig truck’s bumper struck the side of the dark blue SUV.
It’s unknown what led up to the Pleasant Hill car accident near the Treat Boulevard off ramp from the freeway. Vehicles blocked the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes. Meanwhile, paramedics responded to treat at least one of those involved in the collision, but there were no further details.
Investigators will piece together evidence and witness statements to determine liability for the Pleasant Hill crash.
