At 7:07 a.m., an unidentified man bicyclist was fatally struck after being hit by the driver of an unknown vehicle.

The article confirmed that the involved motorist did indeed stop the vehicle they were driving and assisted the victim until help arrived.

Police officials verified that the motorist was open to questioning regarding the incident and did not appear to be under the influence.
