At Least 1 Hurt in Traffic Collision on Arthur Breed Freeway Friday
Pleasanton, CA (October 2, 2021) – A car crash that occurred in the area of Interstate 580 and El Charro Road resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
On October 1, Friday, multiple vehicles collided on the westbound lanes of I-580, also known as Arthur Breed Freeway. Officials described the cars involved in the wreck as a white Tesla and; a gray Toyota Tacoma; and a green Nissan Altima.
The CHP log mentioned the Toyota Tacoma sustained major front-end damage as a result of the incident. In addition, the Nissan Altima came to a rest disabled in the center divider with both front and rear-end damage.
Minor Injury Car Crash in Pleasanton, October 1
Shortly after 4:25 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the location. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. The CHP report confirmed at least one person suffered minor injuries as a result of the wreck. Pending confirmation, the name and age of the victim remained undisclosed.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise circumstances that led to the car crash in Pleasanton.
