2-Vehicle Car Accident on I-680 in Pleasanton

PLEASANTON, Calif. (Dec. 19, 2023) — A two-vehicle crash happened Tuesday on the southbound Interstate 680 Freeway, just north of the Stoneridge Drive off ramp in Pleasanton.

The collision occurred at around 11 a.m. on Dec. 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a red Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a black Mercedes Benz were involved in the accident.

The Mercedes had major front-end damage after the collision and the vehicles were blocking the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes of the 680 Freeway.

Paramedics responded to help at least one person with minor injuries, but there were no further details.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the freeway and investigators are working to determine fault for the Pleasanton crash on the 680 Freeway.
