Major Injury, 2-Vehicle Car Accident
PLEASANTON, Calif. (June 2, 2023) – A major injury crash in Pleasanton happened Friday on the northbound Interstate 680 Freeway near the Sunol Boulevard off ramp.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 6:09 a.m. on June 2nd, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Pickup Overturns in Crash on 680 Freeway
The drivers of a small red pickup truck and a white Infiniti sedan were involved. The pickup reportedly overturned onto its side during the collision.
Paramedics responded and located the driver of the pickup truck suffering major injuries and trapped in the vehicle. The person was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the 680 freeway after the crash.
Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the Interstate 680 Freeway.
