Motorcycle Involved in Crash on Interstate 580
PLEASANTON, Calif. (July 19, 2024) — A multi-vehicle car crash happened Friday afternoon in on Interstate 580 near Hacienda Drive off ramp in Pleasanton, California.
The traffic accident occurred at around 12:54 PM on Friday July 19th, 2024, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A motorcycle and a grey Toyota Camry along with three other vehicles all were involved in a traffic accident in Pleasanton California. It was reported by the CHP that the motorcyclist was down in lane one on the Interstate 580. The traffic collision was blocking lanes one and two of the highway. Two vehicles saw the crash occur and pulled over to assist those involved and injured in the collision.
Luckily, the passengers in the Toyota Camry were reported to have no injuries, and the car itself was drive-able. Tow trucks were asked to come on the scene of the crash to remove the damaged vehicles especially the motorcycle from the highway.
Paramedics responded and located those with injuries and transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the crash in Pleasanton on the Interstate 580 Highway.
