Woman Arrested After Collision Near Stoneridge Drive Thursday
Pleasanton, CA (January 7, 2022) – Police arrested a 30-year-old woman from San Jose following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on Interstate 680, the East Bay Times reported.
Officials said dispatchers received an alert about a truck stolen out of East Palo Alto around 2:20 p.m. on January 6. Responding officers attempted to pull over the suspect, but she failed to yield and continued heading west on Bernal Avenue toward Interstate 680.
When the female driver approached the area near Stoneridge Drive, she reportedly collided with another vehicle. Paramedics later arrived and rendered aid to the innocent parties involved in the wreck. According to the article published online, the occupants sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident.

Police said they searched nearby and found the San Jose woman hiding in bushes at a parking lot. Officer later arrested the suspect on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle; felony evading and felony hit-and-run; and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
Further investigation is ongoing on the car crash on Interstate 680 in Pleasanton.
