3-Vehicle Crash on the I-580 Freeway

PLEASANTON, Calif. (May 22, 2024) — A three-vehicle motorcycle versus car accident happened Wednesday in Pleasanton on the eastbound Interstate 580 Freeway, just west of Hopyard Road.

The collision occurred at around 5 p.m. on May 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a red Toyota Corolla sedan, a red truck and a green motorcycle were involved. The vehicles were blocking the middle and slow lanes of the freeway with the motorcyclist down in the No. 3 lane.

Paramedics responded to help those injured, but there are no further details at this time.

Investigators ae working on the case to determine fault for the Pleasanton accident on the 580 Freeway.
