Minor Injury Crash on Transition Road at I-580 and I-680
PLEASANTON, Calif. (Feb. 17, 2025) — A two-vehicle motorcycle accident happened Monday on the Interstate 580 Freeway at the I-680 Freeway transition in Pleasanton.
The traffic collision occurred around 9:27 a.m. on Feb. 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol. A motorcyclist on a black Suzuki and another vehicle were involved.
CHP officials reported the motorcycle went down between the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the westbound 580 Freeway’s connector road to the northbound 680 Freeway.
Paramedics responded to help the injured rider, but there were no serious injuries.
A tow truck removed the bike due to all-over damage and investigators are working to determine fault for the Pleasanton motorcycle accident on the 580 Freeway.
