POINT LOMA: Driver Runs Red Light Causes 2-Car Accident on Interstate 8
2 Drivers Collide on Interstate 8 at Sunset Cliffs Boulevard
POINT LOMA, San Diego County, California (April 1, 2014) – A driver ran a red traffic light and crashed into another driver on the eastbound Interstate 8 Highway at the Sunset Cliffs Boulevard onramp, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 12:27 p.m., CHP officers responded to the 2-vehicle car accident involving two silver Honda Accord sedans. One of the drivers reportedly ran one, possibly two, red traffic lights prior to the collision.
The report did not disclose whether there were any injuries as a result of the crash, however, many people who suffer soft-tissue injuries may not realize how hurt they are until the pain sets in the following day.
“It’s important to see a doctor soon after a car accident to determine if you have been injured and get treatment immediately to ensure the best recovery,” said Attorney James Johnson, a San Diego Car Accident Attorney.
