Pedestrian Hospitalized After Collision at Rosecrans and Hugo Street Thursday
Point Loma, CA (May 13, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a traffic accident in the area of Rosecrans and Hugo Street Thursday evening.
The FOX5 San Diego News reported a vehicle struck an individual at the Point Loma intersection. According to the article published online, the collision took place at about 6:30 p.m. The make and model of the car involved in the wreck remained unknown at this time.
Major Injury Pedestrian Accident in Point Loma, May 13
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian with injuries. Paramedics attended to the victim, and later transported them to a hospital for treatment of severe wounds. The name of the patient, and their condition at this time have not been revealed thus far.
Responding officers closed the 1400 block of Rosecrans Street, between Hugo Street and North Harbor Drive, to give way to the investigation process.
Further investigation on the pedestrian accident in Point Loma is underway.
