2-Vehicle Crash on PCH in Point Mugu
POINT MUGU, Calif. (Jan. 10, 2022) — A head-on crash on Pacific Coast Highway happened Monday morning in the Point Mugu area near the Mugu Canyon Rest Stop.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 6:01 a.m. on Jan. 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials report two smaller vehicles collided head-on in the southbound lanes of PCH, just past the rest stop. Paramedics with the Ventura County Fire Department responded to assist those with minor injuries from the crash. Fire officials report there was no entrapment and no one was transported to a hospital.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time between the two vehicles.
The passing lane on the southbound side became blocked, but other southbound lanes and northbound lanes remained open, police said.
Meanwhile, tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles and investigators are working to determine liability for the Point Mugu crash on PCH.
