Police Civilian Employee Jimmie Birmingham, 25, Killed in Menifee Car Accident
MENIFEE (November 21, 2018) – A Corona Police civilian employee was killed after a traffic collision in the area of Antelope and Scott roads on Monday, according to The Press Enterprise.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Jimmie Birmingham. He was reportedly a community service officer who helped with investigations, took collision reports, gathered evidence and administered records.
As per the article, police and sheriff’s department said Birmingham was driving a vehicle when for an unknown reason he collided with another car at the intersection of Antelope and Scott roads.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the off-duty civilian officer suffering from major injuries as a result of the crash.
He was then transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The accident took place at about 5:15 p.m. near the 215 Freeway.
Meanwhile, officials affirmed that the other driver involved stopped after the wreck and cooperated with the authorities. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
