2-Vehicle Crash on La Habra Boulevard
LA HABRA, Calif. (Dec. 2, 2022) — Four people were injured Thursday afternoon in a collision with a La Habra police cruiser on La Habra Boulevard and Idaho Street.
The collision occurred about 3 p.m. on Dec. 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The police vehicle was reportedly heading to an emergency when another motorist collided with the cruiser at the La Habra intersection.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash including the police officer and the driver from the involved Toyota Camry and two passengers.
The three people from the Camry were taken to St. Jude Medical Center. They were treated for minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Paramedics treated the police officer for minor injuries, but he was not hospitalized.
The California Highway Patrol’s Westminster office is heading up the investigation into liability.
