LITTLEROCK, California (October 16, 2014) – Local police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a hit-and-run driver who killed a 45-year-old Palmdale man Wednesday night at Avenue T and 70th Street East in this small community just south of Palmdale, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Police say the pedestrian was walking westbound on Avenue T when he was struck about 7:35 p.m. by a driver who failed to stop and render aid. The driver kept driving westbound on Avenue T.
“This is a tragedy for the family of this man as they cope with his sudden loss,” said Attorney James Johnson.
Police are asking that anyone with information about the hit-and-run crash to call them at the nearby Palmdale station at (661) 272-2423.
