Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 50 in Pollock Pines
POLLOCK PINES, Calif. (Oct. 19, 2022) — A major-injury Pollock Pines car accident happened Wednesday on the eastbound Highway 50, just east of Ridgeway Drive off ramp.
The collision involving at least two vehicles occurred about 5:21 a.m. on Oct. 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a blue Chevrolet pickup truck and a gray Toyota RAV 4 were among the vehicles involved. The report stated multiple vehicles blocked all traffic lanes following the collision.
Major Injury Car Accident on Highway 50
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with major injuries following the traffic accident. They transported the injured by ambulance to a hospital, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed two of the vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine liability for the car accident on Highway 50.
