1 Seriously Injured in Pollock Pines Crash on Westbound Highway 50
POLLOCK PINES, CA (February 1, 2021) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person along Highway 50 in Pollock Pines.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on January 31 at about 4:08 p.m.
Three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the westbound lanes of Highway 50. CHP described the cars as a white Chevrolet, a gray Toyota and a Subaru.
Multi-Car Collision Near Randall Tract Lane
Firefighters along with the paramedics then responded to the scene, just east of Randall Tract Lane. They found one individual who suffered major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, officials forced the road to shut down for almost two hours following the incident. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
