2-Vehicle Crash Leaves Debris on El Dorado Freeway

POLLOCK PINES, Calif. (June 14, 2024) — A two-vehicle car collision happened Friday afternoon in Pollock Pines on U.S Route 50 in El Dorado County.

The traffic accident occurred at around 1:32 PM on Friday June 14th, just east of Stacy Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A head-on collision between a white Toyota Corolla and a silver SUV occurred on U.S Route 50. Both vehicles became traffic hazards on the highway, according to the California Highway Patrol. One of the vehicles involved was reported to be in pieces. Debris from one of the vehicles and the contents of the trunk are across all of the lanes. In addition, to the trunk contents of one of the vehicles, there was an unknown liquid reported to be on the roadway as well.

Paramedics responded and located those injured and transported them to the nearest hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the collision on U.S Route 50, in Pollock Pines California.
