POMONA, California (July 30, 2015) — A driver was allegedly driving recklessly prior to a crash with a second driver Thursday morning in a crash on the eastbound 60 Pomona Freeway at the Phillips Ranch Road off ramp, a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash was reported at 7:08 a.m. between a red coupe and a white Ford Expedition SUV in the Nos. 1 and 2 and HOV lanes. The driver of the red vehicle was allegedly driving recklessly just before crashing with the SUV and it landed in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene to help those injured in the crash. An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway and police will issue a report with their findings.
