Bicyclist in Grave Condition After Car Accident
POMONA, Calif. (June 7, 2021) – A Pomona bicycle accident happened Monday morning at Fairplex Drive and Arroyo Avenue.
The crash happened about 9:31 p.m. on Sunday, June 6th in the Pomona area, according to the Pomona Police Department.
A vehicle struck the bicyclist due to unknown circumstances. Police and paramedics located the severely-injured rider unresponsive on the ground in traffic lanes, police said. Medical personnel transported him by ambulance to a hospital for treatment. Police have not released the age or gender of the victim at this time.

Meanwhile, the involved driver stopped after the Pomona bicycle accident on Fairplex Drive. Additionally, the person cooperated with the investigation. Police determined that drugs and or alcohol were not involved.
However, the cause of the bicycle crash remains under investigation to determine fault.
