Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Big Rig Truck
POMONA, Calif. (Sept. 1, 2022) — A Pomona crash involving a semi-truck on the Orange (57) Freeway happened Thursday morning, just south of the transition to the Interstate (10) Freeway.
The 3-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection about 10:07 a.m. on Sept. 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers involved include a semi-truck, a black Dodge Charger, a silver Toyota Tundra pickup truck and a black Honda Civic, police said. One of the vehicles belonged to a witness who pulled over after the collision.
Paramedics responded to help those injured in the crash. It’s unknown at this time if they transported anyone to a hospital.
Meanwhile, at least one of the vehicles required a tow truck to remove it from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash on the Orange (57) Freeway in Pomona.
