Hit-and-Run Driver Fatally Hits Man Holt and New York
Pomona, CA (July 17, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred in the area of Holt Avenue and New York Drive, according to My News LA.
Earlier reports indicated an individual was crossing the intersection in Pomona Monday evening. While in the middle of the roadway, an oncoming vehicle failed to stop and struck the pedestrian. The horrible crash took place at about 9:33 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found a male party suffering in injuries. Investigators believed the victim was between 30 to 40-year-old. Our sources mentioned the pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the collision. Paramedics rushed the patient to a hospital, where he later sadly succumbed to his trauma and passed away.
Authorities mentioned the motorist continued driving after hitting the pedestrian. No immediate information was available on the suspect vehicle involved in the fatal collision.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident that happened at Holt Avenue and New York Drive.
