Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man Near Phillips Ranch Road
Pomona, CA (April 17, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred Sunday on Interstate 60, also known as Pomona Freeway.
According to My News LA, a vehicle struck an individual on the eastbound lanes of the interstate just east of Phillips Ranch Road. Earlier reports indicated the horrible crash took place near the Los Angeles/San Bernardino county line.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 60 Freeway in Pomona
Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 4 a.m. The article published online mentioned the pedestrian suffered severe injuries as a result of the collision. Despite life-saving measures, the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the pedestrian accident happened on 60 Freeway in Pomona.
