Passenger Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash in Pomona
POMONA, Calif. (May 30, 2023) – Antonio Garcia died in a Pomona crash on West Valley Boulevard happened early Tuesday morning.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 5:05 a.m. on May 30th, in the 4100 block of West Valley Blvd., according to the Pomona Police Department.
Coroner Identifies Antonio Garcia
The drivers of a large commercial vehicle and a passenger car were involved, but it’s unknown what led up to the traffic accident.
Antonio Garcia, 62, of Bell, who was riding as a passenger in the car, suffered major injuries and died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner. The driver from the car suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to a hospital.
The Pomona Police Department is heading up the investigation. Witnesses may contact the Pomona Police Department’s Traffic Services Bureau at 909-620-2048.
