1 Killed, 2 Injured in Pomona Crash on Eastbound 10 Freeway Near 57 Freeway
POMONA, CA (July 2, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and injured two others on the 10 Freeway in Pomona.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 2:50 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said multiple vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Pomona. They crashed in the eastbound lanes of the 10 Freeway, near the 57 Freeway.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then pronounced one individual dead at the scene. At least two other people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took them to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the carpool and two left lanes of the 10 Freeway to shut down for over an hour following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Pomona crash is still under investigation.
