1 Killed, 1 Injured in Pomona Crash at Valley Boulevard and Dupont Street
POMONA, CA (April 17, 2022) – A car crash killed at least one person and injured another at Valley Boulevard and Dupont Street in Pomona.
According to The Daily Bulletin and CBS Los Angeles, the tragic accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 2:40 p.m.
Pomona police said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city. They crashed at the intersection of Valley Boulevard and Dupont Street.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived at the scene. They found the two male drivers who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took them to a hospital, where one of them soon died. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, police forced a stretch of Valley Boulevard from Dupont Street to Ridgeway Street to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Pomona crash is still under investigation.
