At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Corona Freeway Sunday
Pomona, CA (November 25, 2021) – On November 21, a suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on State Route 71 near Rio Rancho Road in Pomona.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic collision involving two vehicles occurred in the northbound side of SR-71, also known as Corona Freeway.

Shortly after 12:07 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the accident scene. First responders found a white Mercedes car disabled in the right-hand shoulder of the freeway. Meanwhile, the second vehicle involved in the crash apparently fled the scene.
Medical personnel immediately checked the conditions of the occupants in the Mercedes. After the evaluation, officials confirmed at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the incident. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the identity and location of the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the injury car crash on State Route 71 in Pomona is ongoing.
