POMONA: Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10 West, Towne Avenue

POMONA, Calif. (August 25, 2026) — A multi-vehicle crash happened in Pomona Tuesday morning on the westbound Interstate 10 Freeway, just west of North Towne Avenue.
At least three or four vehicles were involved in the crash around 9:35 a.m. on August 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch log.
The drivers of a silver Ford Focus sedan, a red Ford Transit van, an orange Dodge cargo van, and possibly a white pickup truck were involved.
The Ford sedan and the All-Star Plumbing van reportedly crashed in the HOV and fast lane of the freeway. Other vehicles were in the center divide or pulled over to the right shoulder, the report said.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help those involved, including one person who was trapped in the Ford Focus sedan.
Meanwhile, several lanes of the westbound I-10 were blocked due to the crash and vehicles were towed from the scene.
The cause of the crash and liability has not yet been determined, but the investigation is ongoing.
