Deadly Crash on I-10 Freeway in Pomona
POMONA, Calif. (June 27, 2024) — A 30-year-old Hispanic man died in a pedestrian accident Wednesday night on the westbound Interstate 10 Freeway near the White Avenue on ramp in Pomona.
The deadly collision occurred prior to 9:28 p.m. on June 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the man’s body was found deceased in traffic lanes from a possible hit-and-run pedestrian accident.
The La Verne Fire Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department both responded and confirmed the victim’s death on scene.
It’s unknown at this time what led to the collision or if the driver involved stopped.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash.
