POMONA, California (October 5, 2016) — A pedestrian was badly injured Tuesday night when he was struck by a driver on Foothill Boulevard, just east of Garey Avenue, according to a report by On Scene TV.
The collision took place just before 9 p.m. in front of the New Life Community Church. The driver of the gray SUV who struck the man stopped and was cooperative with police.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department sent paramedics to the scene to help the pedestrian who was unconscious upon their arrival. The victim was taken to Brackett Airport in La Verne where he was airlifted to USC Medical Center. The condition of the pedestrian was not disclosed in the report.
